Stage 2 · Attraction
When someone asks an AI to recommend a supplier, you want your name to come up.
Getting found is no longer just about Google. More and more often, people ask ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and get a single answer with a few names in it. I make sure you are found in both, and I can show you whether it works.

A second search engine has arrived
Ten links to choose from. Or one answer with three names.
Google gives you a list and you decide where to click. An AI assistant gives you one answer that might name three companies. That is a much narrower funnel. If you aren't in it, you don't exist at that moment.
Ten results
You have ten chances to be among them, and the visitor chooses.
One answer
Three names, no list to scroll through. That is where you want to be.
Those answers don't come out of nowhere. They are based on what can be found about you: your own site, but also comparison sites, trade media, forums and customer stories. That can be influenced. In the jargon it is called generative engine optimisation, or GEO. On the rest of this page I'll stick to plain language.
What I do
Four parts, in this order.

Measure where you stand
Which questions do people in your market ask, and what do the assistants answer? Are you named, is your competitor named, or nobody?
Get the basics right
Technology, speed, structure and copy. This is classic SEO and it remains the foundation: what Google doesn't understand, an AI doesn't understand either.
Findable for machines
Structuring your information so an assistant can read and quote it. Clear answers to real questions, structured data, no content hidden behind JavaScript.
Present beyond your own site
Assistants pull their answers from everywhere. Mentions on comparison sites, in trade media and in customer stories all count.
Can you influence that at all?
You can't tell an AI what to say. You can shape what it finds about you.
No, you can't tell an assistant what to say. Yes, you can influence what can be found about you. And the difference between a company with clear, well-structured information available and one without is large.
AI crawlers don't run JavaScript
If your copy only lives inside a script, it doesn't exist for an assistant. Many modern sites have that problem without knowing it. That is why all copy on the sites I build sits right in the page.

Measuring makes the difference
You don't have to believe it works. You can see it.
I regularly check which questions matter in your market, what the different assistants answer, and whether that changes. You can see when you are named more often, and when a competitor shows up.
What to expect
This is the slowest channel there is. And the only one that lasts.
The first months are build-up
A lot happens, but you won't see it straight away in enquiries.
Nobody can promise rankings
Not in Google and not in an assistant. Anyone who does is selling something other than what they deliver.
Answers vary from moment to moment
Per user and per day. That is why we look at patterns over time, not at a single snapshot. And traffic from assistants is hard to attribute; it often comes in as direct traffic.
What you build here lasts
Unlike advertising, it doesn't stop the moment you stop paying.

What does ChatGPT say about your market today?
In the strategy call I check whether and how you currently appear in AI assistants. Thirty minutes, no strings attached, and afterwards you know where you stand.
