Stage 1 · Exploration
You know your customers. But do you know your market?
Most companies know the customers who found them. That is rarely more than a fraction of everyone who qualifies. I map out how many companies really fit you, who they are, and what share of them you reach today.

The misconception
Your current customers aren't a cross-section of your market.
They are the companies that happened to find you, came through word of mouth, or were in your own region. That skews things: you end up targeting who is already there instead of who could be.
A market analysis (in the jargon: a Total Addressable Market) counts how many companies really qualify. The market often turns out bigger than expected, or composed differently: other company sizes, other sectors, other regions than you assumed.
The gap is bigger than you think
You know your current customers well. But they are the part of your market that happened to find you already. Making the gap visible is exactly what this analysis does.
What I do
Four steps, from profile to a list you can work with.

The profile
Together we define what kind of company really fits you. Not just sector and size, but also the signs that someone needs you. This is also where I interview your existing customers; they know things no tool does.
The count
How many companies meet that profile, in the Netherlands or beyond. This is the number that matters.
The enrichment
The list is filled in with what you need to reach them: contacts, job titles, tools in use, recent changes.
The segmentation
The list is split by who is most promising. Every company gets a priority, so sales starts with the best fit instead of the top of an alphabetical list, and knows why a company is on it. That turns a long list into a working order.
What you actually get
Not a report for the drawer. A file you can work with tomorrow.
How big your market is, with figures to back it up.
The companies themselves, with contacts and details.
Who is most promising, and therefore where you start.
We go through it together. No file thrown over the fence.
What to expect
Data is never complete. I'd rather say so up front.
Not every field can be found
In European B2B, phone numbers are the weakest field; email addresses are considerably easier to find. We shape the approach around that.
Some sectors are better covered than others
Where public data is thin, we fill the gaps by hand. I tell you up front what I expect to find.
What a list doesn't do
A good list sells nothing. It makes sure your attention goes to the right companies.
The tools
Public data, enriched with technology.
Clay
Enriches every name on the list
Sales Navigator

Company registers
Public data as the basis for the count
Lookalike tools

What else it delivers
One analysis that sharpens all of your marketing.
This isn't just a list for outreach. The same profile decides who you advertise to, what you write about and which words belong on your site. That is why it is often the first step.
