Stage 1 · Exploration

The conversations you miss usually start with a single message.

Most companies wait until someone calls them. That is three percent of your market, and it is where all your competition is. I approach the rest, before they start searching, with a message worth reading.

The misconception

Templates sent to ten thousand addresses no longer work. And rightly so.

You have received those messages yourself. Most cold email is one text sent to a bought list, with a name pasted in. That is exactly what I don't do. What does work is knowing who you approach, why that particular person, and why now.

The difference is in the preparation, not the copy. If you know a company has just hired someone in a role that touches what you do, that they recently moved, or that they use a tool that makes your solution necessary, it is no longer a cold message.

How I build it

Four steps, from list to conversation.

Rocky, our guide
1

The list

With LinkedIn Sales Navigator and the TAM analysis we decide who qualifies in the first place. Not everyone with an email address, but the companies that fit. Do you work through partners? Then I also analyse your partner list for the right people and the topics they discuss on LinkedIn, and find similar companies to grow your network.

2

The enrichment

With Clay I add what you need to write something worthwhile. Job title, company size, tools in use, recent changes.

3

The warm-up

Before a message arrives, they have already seen you. A connection request, a few posts in their feed, maybe an ad. People who already know you respond differently. That is thought leadership. The combination is exactly why this works.

4

The conversation

A message by email or LinkedIn that is about them, not about you. No template, but a system.

What to expect

Better twenty good conversations than two hundred unsubscribes.

Timeline

When the first replies come in

Outbound pays off faster than inbound, but nothing pays off in week one. The first weeks are build-up: list, enrichment, warm-up. After that I analyse the first replies and interview you to sharpen your ideal customer profile (ICP).

Response

What is realistic

Volume isn't the goal. A well-built campaign gets more out of two hundred good contacts than out of ten thousand random ones.

Limits

What I don't guarantee

Nobody can promise a number of leads up front. Whether someone replies depends on your market, your offer and the timing. What I do control is the quality of the list and the messages.

The tools

Smart systems do the work. I keep it personal.

Integrations & webhooks

Automatic connections to your CRM, calendar and inbox. A reply instantly becomes a lead in your CRM, without retyping.

On top of the conversations

You get to know your market while you approach it.

Who replies, to what, in which sector: that data tells you something about your market you can't get anywhere else. It steers all of your marketing, not just the outreach.
